Train Wash Repair – Central Maintenance Facility (Los Angeles, CA)
SSC is providing engineering and construction management services for Metrolink’s Train Wash Repair project at the Central Maintenance Facility. Our team assessed system deficiencies, developed the project scope and cost estimate, prepared bid and specification packages, and is overseeing installation of new piping, water reclamation upgrades, pH-neutralization systems, and updated instrumentation through commissioning and closeout.

City of Alameda – Grand Street Improvements
SSC provided construction management and engineering support services for the Grand Street improvements project in the City of Alameda. The project included roadway rehabilitation, pedestrian and bicycle facility upgrades, and utility coordination. As part of our role, SSC oversaw design development, permitting, and construction, ensuring minimal disruption to the local community. Services included schedule management, cost estimating, constructability reviews, coordination with city staff and stakeholders, and administration of construction contracts.

City of South Lake Tahoe – Local Assistance Project Management Support
SSC served as the Local Assistance Project Manager (LAPM) for the City of South Lake Tahoe, supporting federally funded transportation projects. We guided city staff through Caltrans Local Assistance procedures, managed project documentation, environmental approvals, right-of-way certification, and contract procurement. SSC coordinated with Caltrans District staff and funding agencies to keep projects on schedule and within budget. Advised city staff on Caltrans Local Assistance requirements and federal funding compliance, among others.

San Mateo Replacement Parking Track
SSC provided construction inspection and engineering support services for the San Mateo Replacement Parking Track project. The project covered construction and integration of a new #10 mainline turnout and 1100’ of new track off the Peninsula Subdivision’s Main Track Two as well as #8 dual switch point derail, 80’ of paneled access track for hi-rail and rail bound equipment access, 2100’ of engineered maintenance road, and two CIDH pile supported CMU sound walls totaling 1000’+, 20’ of split culvert installation, solar controlled irrigation system, and site securement via security/ privacy fencing installation.
